RCMP on the Burin Peninsula have released surveillance images of a man believed responsible for a break-in at the Garnish town council building.
RCMP received a complaint on October 21. Someone broke into the building in the overnight hours and removed a safe containing a large sum of cash.
A suspect caught on camera was wearing black clothing and a face mask and white footwear.
Residents of Garnish and Frenchman’s Cove who have surveillance systems are asked to check their footage between the hours of midnight and 4 a.m. on Wednesday, October 21 for any possible suspicious activity that may help police with their investigation.
