Newfoundland and Labrador has five new confirmed cases of COVID-19 today.
Four of the five are related to travel within Canada, while the other is a close contact of a case reported on Saturday in the Western Health region.
The new case, a woman in her 70s, comes a day after a 70-year-old man in the region tested positive.
Officials say the investigation into the source is ongoing.
Three of Sunday’s new cases include three men in their 40s in the Eastern Health region, with the other is a man in his 60s in Central.
More to come.
