Local Housing Program Receives Support from Bell Let's Talk

Choices for Youth has received a $16,000 grant from the Bell Let’s Talk Community Fund in support of its RallyForward housing support program for at-risk young people.

Through the program, people ages 16 to 29 are helped in getting and maintaining housing and are connected with health, education and employment services.

Executive Director Sheldon Pollett says it’s focused on maintaining the mental health of young people so they can thrive while living independently in the community.

Choices for Youth works with an average of 1,600 young people every year.
